Goochland County's first hotel is now open. The Residence Inn Short Pump at The Notch held a ribbon cutting on October 6, as they opened their doors to the first guests.
The 130-room hotel is built on Broad Street Road just east of Route 288 and across from Drive Shack. The extended stay hotel sits on Wilkes Ridge Parkway, adjacent to Medarva Healthcare's West Creek Surgery Center, and Sheltering Arms Rehabilitation Center.
The hotel has studio, one-and two-queen bed suites with separate living and sleeping areas. Rooms also have a fully equipped kitchen, complimentary grocery delivery service, free internet, and free hot breakfast. Added benefits include a fitness center, indoor pool, fire pit, and bar.
