VDOT Launches NEVI Program Partnering List

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) now hosts a National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program Partnering List. The free listing will allow for better coordination between potential electric vehicle charging site hosts, electricians, hardware providers, operators, and other businesses seeking to participate in the buildout of Virginia’s electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Businesses and other organizations who wish to be listed can fill out this form. The most recent partnering list can be found on VDOT’s NEVI website here. Those interested in receiving regular updates on the status of the NEVI program are invited to contact NEVI@vdot.virginia.gov.

Virginia’s Hourly Minimum Wage to Increase to $12.41 on January 1, 2025

Effective January 1, 2025, Virginia’s minimum wage will increase to $12.41 per hour. This adjustment follows a 2020 amendment to the Virginia Minimum Wage Act and reflects a 3.4% increase based on the Consumer Price Index. Going forward, adjustments to the minimum hourly rate will be made annually. For more details, please refer to the formal announcement available here.

You asked and we listened! For the first time, Goochland is accepting tractor tires during its tire amnesty event.

There will be a 10-tire limit per person and participants must show proof of Goochland County residency. Only clean off rim AG/Tractor, Truck, Auto, and ATV/UTV tires accepted.
