They are a woman- and veteran-owned business based out of Gum Spring in western Goochland. Starting only a year ago in March 2023, Treetop Hill just celebrated their first business anniversary and has found itself a niche market to grow in.

Many people don’t realize that roughly 20 percent of the ingredients for the soaps that you buy in the store come from chemicals, additives, or preservatives. Treetop Hill’s owner, Lizzy Johnson, set out to create natural soaps that remove these chemical components and are healthy for the skin. With a meticulous manufacturing process, Treetop Hill’s quality control of their products is top notch. They are able to keep their high quality by making all their soaps in handmade small batches to ensure consistency in every bar of soap produced. In addition, all soaps made by Treetop Hill are PH tested prior to selling to make certain that their customers receive the best product.

Treetop Hill prides itself on the array of products they offer. With cold processed soaps, sugar scrubs, body butters, chapsticks, and more, they try to make something for everyone. They even make scentless soaps for the men and hunters in your family. Their soaps produce a rich lather with a variety of scents like lemongrass, lavender, sandalwood, and cinnamon to name a few.
